The sea around Koh Lao Liang has the most wonderful and abundant coral reef of the Trang coast.
Activities
Rock Climbing
The classical Thai climbing experience has changed. The tradition of spending weeks or months climbing on Railay and Tonsai is slowly coming to an end. Railay Beach has become significantly more expensive and crowded. Railay and Tonsai are at 100% occupancy rate during most of the high season, resulting in pollution & nasty over crowding. Koh Lao Liang Climbing is right off the beach just outside your tent. Classic limestone tufas and stalactites, full range of grades, multipitch routes. The climbing is reminiscent of the best climbing on Railay and Tonsai. Lao Liang has 40 pitches; grades of 5-7C. There is also an amazing bouldering cave. Many climbers have remarked that it is the best bouldering in Thailand. Add perfect cliffs for Deep Water Soloing. Climbers of all abilities can enjoy this unique and exhilarating experience. The new route potential for climbing, bouldering and Deep Water Soloing is unlimited!
